Christmas Performance – Away in a Manger

On Wednesday 13th December, the Centre invited parents and friends to their Christmas Performance “Away in a Manger”. The story tells of a proud donkey  called Maurice, who has become rather attached to his manger. and the  commotion it causes when he has to share it with a stream of visitors including hens, mice and even a spider!! Everyone had been practising the songs and their lines and agreed it was an amazing performance. During the play, we inserted our own version of “Little Drummer Boy”, where some children played djembe drums and at the end the after school music club played on the recorders.

We would like to thank everyone who was involved in the production and thank all who came and were such a great audience.
